In what ways can Goodwin's theory of music videos be applied to uptown funk Ft Bruno Mars ?        (10 mark's)

we can apply Goodwin's theory to this video by looking at various elements such as the lyrics and visuals of the music video. The performance based nature of the video shows us the type of music video it is with the intertextual 70s looking suits that connect to the Gangster films of the 70s, the chains and the especially the pink suit that Bruno Mars wears this is to show his confidence and that he is the centre of the stage with all eyes on him.
